The Multi Story Orchestra return to Gloucester to join forces with artists from The Music Works’ UPSURGE programme to create a unique event fusing Hip Hop, R’n’B, Pop, Rap and Spoken Word, performed live with the orchestra. Have you ever heard an Orchestra play alongside Grime, Hip Hop, or R’n’B  artists?

Grove / Eyez + Sleepa / JPDL + Yogi Beats / Griz-O / Luzzey / Water Colours / Mistry / Mvther / Rosita


UPSURGE DJ takeover
9-11PM

Eyez & Sleepa and Yogi Beats will be taking over the decks whilst Grove, JPDL and Griz-O will be on mic duties.

People of the World created and performed by singers from Moat, Robinswood, Tredworth and Widden Primary Schools

The Multi-Story Orchestra are returning to Gloucester this year to perform ‘People of the World’ – a call to help protect the environment and its inhabitants from the impact of human damage – which is being created specially for the concert by children from four Gloucester primary schools with the amazing singer-songwriter Abimaro Gunnell. Conducted by Christopher Stark, The Orchestra are also playing Beethoven’s famous Creatures of Prometheus overture and will be joined by young musicians from Gloucester Academy of Music for Kate Whitley’sThe Animals.
